FRIENDS OF THE NICHOLSON WAR MEMORIAL

The Friends of The Nicholson War Memorial have been established to preserve and enhance this unique structure. The building already has Grade 2 listed status and one of the aims of the Friends is to obtain Grade 1 status.

The Friends recently secured a £178,000 Heritage Lottery Fund grant to renovate and carry out structural repairs to the Memorial. You can find out details on our Restoration page.

The Friends are always looking for people who may be interested in joining us and helping with the upkeep of the Monument and helping with promotional or educational activities.

If you would like to get involved with the Friends of the NWM or indeed make a donation towards the memorial's upkeep then please contact the Town Clerk, Mrs Julie Taylor on 01538 381271 (julie.taylor@leektowncouncil.co.uk).

The Friends of the NWM are:-
